Standard check-in begins at 3:00 PM, and standard check-out is at 12 PM. If you would like an earlier check-in, or a delayed checkout please mention this in your booking request and we should be more than able to accommodate you.

Unfortunately, The Bunkhouse does require a two night minimum. However we do offer a Honeymooners discount for guests who reserve four or more nights.

It depends, if you intend to host an event at The Bunkhouse you are required to show proof of liability insurance prior to use. This extends to third party vendors as well. DJ’s, caterers etc. will also require a certificate of insurance. However, If the only guests you are reserving your retreat for are overnight guests at The Bunkhouse (16 people or less) and you do not intend to use third party vendors, this requirement is not necessary.

Yes, we do require all guests to place a $1,500 non-refundable security deposit the day the reservation is placed. This deposit will then be used toward your total bill.

Because The Bunkhouse is a cedar structure situated on a wild life refuge, firework/pyrotechnic displays or any other environmental nuisance are not permitted on the premises. This includes but is not limited to fireworks, firearms, glitter, balloons filled with glitter, non decomposable confetti, fake flower pedals, and balloon releases. Additionally candles, incense, sparklers, open flames and smoking of any kind, including e-cigarettes inside The Bunkhouse is strictly prohibited. For a detailed over view of the policies and procedures at The Bunkhouse please visit our rules and regulation page.

The saltwater pool is a seasonal amenity. This season the pool will open on May 15th and close on the 30th of September. Please note that there is no lifeguard on duty, and we kindly ask all guests to enjoy the pool responsibly. For your safety, no running, diving, horseplay, or use of glassware is permitted by the pool or surrounding patio. The property owners are not liable for any pool-related accidents, drowning, or personal injuries.

While the first floor of The Bunkhouse is heat controlled, there is no central heating or cooling system available for the first floor bonus suite at this time, we use an AC unit in the warmer months and provide space heaters in the cooler months. Additionally the bathroom in the bonus suite uses untreated well water. Our pricing structure reflects these limitations.

We are a small family team that cares deeply about providing our guests with exceptional experiences. We live on site at the property and are available 24/7 throughout the duration of your stay.
